A Dream

Tune: He’s got the Whole World in His Hands”

Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream

Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream

Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream

He had the whole world in his dream.

He had me and you, in his dream

He had me and you, in his dream

He had me and you, in his dream

He had the whole world in his dream.

Dr. King

Tune: Yankee Doodle

Dr. King was a man

Who came from Atlanta Georgia.

Had a dream that he preached

For all men to be equal.

Dr King was so brave

Martin was a hero.

Won the fight for everyone

To end discrimination.

Make a difference, Make a craft!

Craft Instructions

1. Glue the blue and green squares down onto the circle to turn it into the world.

2. Trace your hand onto a white piece of paper and cut it out. Talk about how even little hands can change the world. How does your child want to change it? Write it down on the hand cut out.

3. Glue the heart cut out and the hand cut out onto the world.

With just a little love and each of us bettering our world, we can make a difference.
