The Lights on the Robot

Tune: The Wheels on the Bus

The lights on the robot

blink on and off,

on and off, on and off.

The lights on the robot

blink on and off,

all around the rocket ship.

Repeat with these verses:

The arms on the robot go up and down

The dials on the robot turn left and right

The legs on the robot go up and down

The feet on the robot go clickity clack

The power on the robot powers down

If You’re a Robot and You Know it

Tune: If You’re Happy and You Know it

If you’re a robot and you know it, blink your eyes

If you’re a robot and you know it, blink your eyes

If you’re a robot and you know it, then your eyes will truly show it

If you’re a robot and you know it, blink your eyes

Repeat with these verses:

If you’re a robot and you know it, move your arm

If you’re a robot and you know it, clap your hands

If you’re a robot and you know it, lift your leg

If you’re a robot and you know it, stomp your feet

If you're a robot and you know it, turn around

If you're a robot and you know it, press your button ("beep, beep")

If you’re a robot and you know it, go to sleep (slump down and close eyes)

Craft Instructions:

1. Cover your toilet paper roll with foil, using tape to secure it.

2. Add straw antenna, bottle cap wheels, and pipe cleaner arms.

3. Attach the eyes and mouth, then decorate your robot.

Extra play Ideas:

·        Check out a Robot book from the Library. Read the whole thing in your best robot voice. Encourage your child to walk like a robot, too!
