Virtual Storytime: Ho Ho Homework

Ho Ho Homework

Opening Song:  Dance Your Fingers

Dance your fingers up, dance your fingers down

Dance your fingers to the side and dance them round and round

Dance them on your shoulders, dance them on your head

Dance them on your belly and now put them to bed!

Rhyme:  Two Little Candy Canes

Way up high in the Christmas tree

Two little candy canes smiled at me

I shook the tree as hard as I could

And down came the candy canes, mmmm, they were good!

Book:  Ho Ho Homework by Mylisa Larsen, illustrated by Taia Morley, published by Harper.

This book has so many lovely craft ideas.  Make paper chains and snowflakes for some handmade Christmas decorations!

Rhyme:  Stir a Bowl of Gingerbread

Stir a bowl of gingerbread, smooth and spicy brown.

Roll it with a rolling pin, up and up and down.

With a cookie cutter, cut some little men.

And put it in the oven 'til half past ten!

Closing Song:  May There Always Be Sunshine

May there always be sunshine

May there always be blue skies

May there always be children

May there always by you

May there always be stories

May there always be music

May there always be laughter

May there always be you

May there always be kindness

May there always be love

May you always feel special

Because you are you

Sending you smiles from afar!
Miss Tiffany
